These vehicles can travel up to 1,600 km on one full tank. Powering natural gas reduces particulate matter (PM) emissions by 99% and nitrogen dioxide (NO2) emissions by 90% compared to diesel fuel. Mega trailers have an internal height of 3 m and provide 100 m3 of cargo space. They allow the transportation of basically any type of cargo, loose, packed in collective packaging or on pallets. These are semi-trailers adapted for transport by rail and Ro-Ro ship. They are characterized by a reinforced frame and have an air suspension that allows the semi-trailer to be lifted by a crane during loading onto a railway wagon.
